Old-style Scoreboard

boccelism, It's a blast. This 20th-century style manual scoreboard harks back to the early days of boccelism. No hunting for electrical outlets and extension cords with one of these. Each scoreboard is a hand-crafted original, with "accidental" imperfections designed to bring back memories of the old ball yard around the bend of a country road. The board comes with a full set of number cards; the scoreboard easel-stand is optional.

Dave Altherr started the 2012 season with many bangs en route to a 47-32 demolition of Chris "Big Country" Harden, who could not bring enough game to match his mouth. The match was part of Cinco de Mayo festivities at the newest boccelism venue, the Garden Lane Tossing Grounds.

Hail Ganesha

(noun) - An optional Ganesha toss for any player in dire straits, usually as a last-gasp effort by a player facing imminent defeat. Players must loudly declare "Hail Ganesha!" and bow in the direction of the target before making the attempt.
